events
I've had the privilege to work on some amazing events. From black tie fundraisers with art auctions and elaborate parties with art installations and projection mapping, to family gatherings and intimate lectures, I've successfully executed over 200 events. Below are some highlights of these wonderful experiences.
wonderball
Wonderball is a celebration of the creative spirit of Columbus and a major fundraiser for the Columbus Museum of Art. One of the premiere events in the city, it's an evening of local food, music, performance, and interactive, unexpected experiences. Last year's immersive art installations, pop-up fashion shows, 1,200 attendees, 13 bars, 12 performances and musical acts, and epic audio and visuals made this event truly one of a kind and raised over $200,000 for the museum.

Art celebration
Art Celebration is the Museum’s signature fundraising gala which provides critical operating support to the museum's award-winning programs, exhibitions, cherished collections, and access for the Columbus community. Consisting of a highly elevated and curated, multi-course meal, live music, honoree and keynote speeches, and a live art auction, last year's event raised $400,000.
This year we've partnered with a local production company to create a hybrid experience consisting of all the usual in-person elements with added social distancing and safety measures as well as a new virtual component with home delivered food and drinks, prerecorded video content blended with livestreamed speeches, and a live art auction that both in-person and virtual attendees can participate in simultaneously.

Member previews & exhibition openings
Member Preview parties at CMA create an opportunity for members to view new exhibitions before the public as well as hear lectures from community leaders and curators about the art and its influences. With a usual attendance of around 400 people, themed catering and drinks, and a DJ, these events are always a joyful and unique experience.

CMA Comes Alive
This annual event is an opportunity to get the whole family out for fun and whimsical experiences to enjoy together. It includes a collaborative LEGO® construction build, a dance party, art scavenger hunts, story telling, and kid friendly food and drinks. Event attendance reaches over 1,000 and utilizes every event space in the museum.

community celebrations
Some of my favorite types of events to plan are those that bring together different communities. These events provide an essential space for conversation, enjoyment, and unity. The photos below are from an LGBTQ+ event to celebrate the community and provide an opportunity to engage with the museum in a fun way.
